Just far enough away from the nonsense (I love them too, but the word still fits) and noise of the honkytonks along Broadway in Nashville lies The Noelle, a boutique-style hotel nestled next to Printer’s Alley.

The Trade Room (Lobby Lounge)

Nashville has seen unprecedented growth over the last 10-15 years and boutique properties across the area have stepped in to handle some of the traffic. The Noelle is a Marriott property, but is a far cry from a box brand hotel. It’s small with a historical feel and just enough fancy to emit 5-Star flair without the 5-Star cost.

If you’re planning a weekend trip with friends, a small corporate meeting, or a quaint wedding, it’s a perfect location. The Saidee Gallery is one of the nicest small ballroom spaces in Nashville with high ceilings and large, ornate windows looking out onto the city.

Nashville provides all the nightlife you need, but before you head out to neighboring Printer’s Alley or down to Broadway (a short walk from the hotel), there are a few options on site.

The Trade Room serves as the lobby lounge of the hotel and features a long cocktail bar with various groupings of lounge seating. The building itself was an office building years ago and the Trade Room keeps the old commerce spirit in its preserved detail. You can imagine bank tellers working along what now is a bar top.

Nashville boasts wonderful weather for most of the year. There are summer months when it’s a little hot for most, but apart from the few months of summer and winter you’re looking at 6-7 months of brilliant sunshine and mild temperatures. To capture these glorious days The Noelle has a rooftop bar for you. Large groups can take over the space as long as they reach a food and beverage minimum. There are also smaller spaces that can be reserved for the right price.

Rooftop Bar

A few years ago The Noelle transformed a basement space to a pop-up bar with a Christmas theme. There was a separate street entrance and was a bit of a speakeasy at the time. Following that success they have continued to randomly open the space with different themes. It’s hush hush and only those in the know can point you to it’s location and the fact that it’s currently operating. Keep your ear to the ground.

In summation, The Noelle feels like a Manhattan office building in the 30s. It has a great location and everything you need for a unique experience in Nashville. It’s my go-to for corporate groups that fit because everything is reachable by a short walk and the level of service, style, and size is on point for a boutique experience.
